Best poster award
As the number of submissions at the Empirical Research in Psychology conference grew with each year, the limits of the extended weekend within which the conference is traditionally held have been reached. In order to accommodate all those interested to present their work, a poster presentation was introduced in 2016. This is a different form of presentation that enables the inclusion of a large number of papers within a conference. Since the first poster session at EIP, the number of poster presentations has increased.
For the best poster presentation, the organising committee of the Empirical Research in Psychology conference awards the Best poster award. The jury, selected by the organising committee, visits all the posters presented at the poster sessions. Through short presentations and discussions with the authors, they evaluate the poster presentations. The highest-rated posters receive the Best poster award, which is awarded at the closing of the meeting. As of 2023, the conference visitors award the best poster by voting at the conference for their favourite poster.
